"CAPHARNAUM" Charity Movie Event 2019

Metta hosted the "CAPHARNAUM" Charity Movie Event on Sunday, March 30, 2019. The movie tells how a 12-year-old boy, Zain, struggled to survive in a poor family. He even accused his parents of give him birth, and could not raise him.

The film describes the problems faced by poor families in Lebanon, such as child labor, children selling on the streets, trafficking, drug use, and child marriage. Similarly, these social problems also exist in developing countries such as Cambodia. The street children that Metta serving in Cambodia also experienced the same kind of predicament in the movie: living in slums, dropping out of school and raising their families from childhood.

About 80 supporters attended the event, so that everyone knows more about the struggles of the poor in Cambodia.
